Work Experience

Throughout my undergraduate studies I was struggling a bit to find that one topic I love. Because of Computer Science & Engineering being a versatile subject, it offered numerous promising fields for me to work with. And with time it got worse. Then in my senior year I finally found Machine Learning. During my undergraduate thesis I focused a lot on Machine Learning and tried to complete a lot of courses. After a few projects I came to understand that Machine Learning is mostly processing the data that a computer can handle easily. Thus my interest in the Data Engineering field began. And then I joined Robi Axiata Ltd. as a Data Engineer in the EDW & Analytics Team. I continued that interest to my second job as well. In Bangladesh Bank I joined the "R&D on Data Science Applications wing" where I mostly work with Transactional data.

  • Created shell scripts, cron-jobs and PL/SQL procedures to automate data processing pipelines.

  • Used Python scripting to pre process raw data.

  • Used processed data to generate BI reports and other reports using SAP BO.

  • Worked with HIVE to reconcile data quality in different stages.

  • Using Hadoop to store and process big data.

Bangladesh Bank

  • Worked with cron-jobs for scheduling different scripts.

  • Used Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) to create and run different mapping to process raw data.

  • Used Oracle Data Integretor (ODI) to create packages and schedules to automate the data processing pipelines.

  • Worked with migration of OWB and ODI mappings from Oracle 11gR2 to Oracle 19c.

Scholarships & Volunteer Works

I have a lot of accomplishments and some of those accomplishments awarded me with some form of scholarships. From a very young age I was achieving prestigious scholarships for great performance in my academic life. Unfortunately though from a young age I was shy and reserved and not until my undergraduate I could break the social barrier. In my undergraduate years I participated in a lot of volunteer work. This types of volunteer works both improved my knowledge and management skills.
